about  the  project

On November 9th, 2016, Donald J. Trump became President-elect of the United States of America. 73 days later, on January 20th, 2017, he will be sworn into office.

These are unprecedented times for our country. For the first time in American history we have elected a business magnate, investor, author and television personality with no political or military experience to be the head of state, head of government and Commander-in-Chief of the United States Armed Forces as the 45th President of the United States. Our country is divided in how we see this -- reactions range from outright celebration to violent protest, from fear and worry to tears of joy -- and we want to represent all of this.

73 Days Later is an unbiased, nonpartisan documentary film aimed at capturing the diverse perspectives of unique individuals from all communities across America. By blending footage and interviews captured by our team of filmmakers, as well as video submissions from all over the country, we hope to create a platform for you to express your true feelings, beliefs and vulnerabilities without judgment.

We are actively looking for video interview submissions from anyone who wants to share their opinions, feelings, and experiences since Election Day. 73 Days Later hopes to hear from all political communities  -- Republican, Democratic, Tea Party, Green Party, Alt-Right, Libertarian, Communist, Socialist, etc -- you name it, we want to hear from you.

There are a number of ways to get involved:

1. You can now record videos directly from our site! Go to the SUBMIT A VIDEOtake a look at the questions, and hit record!

2. Do you have any footage of political events, happenings, or community reactions since Election Day? Any photos that capture your state of mind during the transition? If so, we'd love you to share them with us at 73DaysLater@gmail.com or #73DaysLater.
